Floor tiles are generally denser and more slip- and impact-resistant than wall tiles, and floor tiling labour usually costs less per m² than wall tiling because it is faster to set out and lay on a flat, accessible surface. Wall tiling needs more precise levelling, cutting around fittings, and working at height on parts of the wall.
