Most internal and external walls in Nigeria are finished with a wet cement-sand render because it works directly on blockwork and is well understood by every mason. Dry gypsum board lining is more common for partition walls, ceiling-adjacent upstands, or where a very flat, fast-turnaround finish is wanted over a stud or masonry backing.
