Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Nigeria Building Cost Estimator website and services ("Service") operated by Nigeria Building Cost Estimator ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account, submitting information through, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
Nigeria Building Cost Estimator is an online tool that generates indicative construction cost estimates for building projects in Nigeria. The Service provides:
All estimates produced by the Service are indicative only. They are based on prevailing market rate data and standard construction assumptions and do not constitute a professional quantity surveying report, engineering assessment, or contract sum.
Actual construction costs may vary materially depending on site-specific conditions, contractor pricing, material availability, exchange rate fluctuations, and other factors beyond our control. We strongly recommend that any estimate generated by the Service be verified by a qualified, registered Quantity Surveyor before being used for financial planning, loan applications, or contract purposes.
We accept no liability for any loss or damage — financial or otherwise — arising from reliance on estimates generated by the Service.
To save estimates or access Pro features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Certain features are available only to subscribers of the Pro plan. Subscription fees are charged in Nigerian Naira (NGN) on a monthly basis. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 14 days' notice to active subscribers.

The Service, including its software, design, rate data, and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
PDF estimates and BoQ documents you generate are yours to use freely. However, you may not resell or redistribute the underlying rate data or calculation methodology.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profit, loss of data, or financial loss — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or NGN 5,000 if no payment was made).
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
