Common questions

Where do these construction tenders come from?

Only from official sources: state government e-procurement portals and procurement agencies (Anambra, Benue, Lagos) and the World Bank procurement notices for Nigerian projects. Each listing links to the official notice, so you can check it before you bid. We never list tenders sent in by the public.

Are the tender details free?

Yes. Every listing shows the closing date, the procuring entity, the lots, the documents asked for and how to submit, free. Always confirm the details in the official bidding documents before you submit.

What does "Invited firms only" mean?

Some tenders use selective or restricted tendering: only the firms named or invited in the notice can bid. They are listed so you can see what is being built and who is buying, but you cannot bid unless you were invited.

How do I price a tender?

Open a tender and press "Price this bid". It opens our free tender BoQ with the project details filled in, so you can enter quantities, rates, markup and contingency and print a priced bill of quantities.

What documents do I need to bid for a government construction contract in Nigeria?

Most notices ask for CAC registration, tax clearance for the last three years, PENCOM, ITF and NSITF compliance certificates, BPP Interim Registration Report (federal) or state contractor registration, audited accounts, evidence of similar jobs, key staff CVs, an equipment list and a sworn affidavit. Each listing shows exactly what that notice asks for.

Descriptions are written by us from the official notices. Always confirm dates, requirements and submission details in the official bidding documents before you bid.
